Government cut to solar FIT's blocked

Court of Appeal Blocks FIT cuts

As widely reported in the news media,  the Coalition Government has lost it's bid t impose the cut in the feed in Tariffs. In a decision, welcomed by  the burgeoning Solar PV installation industry, the Court of Appeal upheld an appeal, which essentially overturns the cut in the FIT.

However, the Coalition Government maintains it's stance that which it says that the payments made to households with solar PV panels, are unsustainable, despite the fact that solar PV installation businesses and campaigners have repeated the warning several times to the Coalition Government that thousands of jobs could be lost as a result of the cuts in the FIT's.
