PAT TESTING - QUALIFICATIONS UPDATE

In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment qualifications....they are "a" changing!
City and Guilds announced in /December 2011, that The 2377-11 and 12 qualifications covering In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment will be no longer available, as of mid 2012.
The old 2377 qualifications will now be known as
Are there any changes ?
There are some small changes to the syllabus, which is reflected in the questions appearing on the online examinations that are currently being updated. The main change is that unlike previously, the practical assessment will now be a more formal exercise with assessment judging safe operation, as well as the entire assessment carried out in a timed limited situation.
What happens next?
Whilst it is the case that City and Guilds 2377-11 and City and Guilds 2377-12 are continuing to be made available, at Total Electrical Training, we believe in offering you the most up to date courses, underpinned by the examinations and assessments that are absolutely up to date as well.
