Although City and Guilds satate that there are no "pre entry requirements" to attend this course, we strongly recommend that you should have some prior knowledge of electrical theory, electircal principles and terminologies, together with a basic understanding of electrical installation circuits.

All candidates on this City and Guilds 2382-12 17th edition course, are assessed via an examination comprising of 60 multiple choice questions. The examaination duration is 2 hours.

This is an “open book” examination and is carried out using the computer based City and Guilds e-volve system.

All candidates are given their results at the end of the examination.

 

This course is normally costs £399 plus VAT and is inclusive of all course materials and examination fees.

This 17th edition course leads to a fully accredited level 3 qualification in the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations BS7671:2008.

IET wiring regulations books taken into examinations can contain the following:

  • Bookmarks (eg blank post-it notes or corners of pages folded)
  • Highlighting of text

Please note that copies of BS 7671:2008, taken into examinations cannot contain the following:

  • Sample exam questions, answers or diagrams
  • Any writing in the regulations or accompanying written notes which indicate possible answers within a given section.
  • Notes, diagrams or any content that may, in anyway seeks to advantage the candidate in answering questions within the examination.
