City and Guilds 2391-10 is assessed in 2 distinct ways:
1. 2 ½ written examination takes place at a time allocated by City & Guilds, which is normally scheduled to commence at 6.30 pm on a Thursday evening, with the finishing time set for 9.00pm. (all times are local)
2 3 hour practical assessment, which is normally scheduled by arrangement, discussion and/or agreement with each individual delegate, and is usually conducted at a convenient time shortly after completion of the course and the written examination. The practical assessment is carried out on City and Guilds designed rigs which simulate real electrical installations. The course price of £560.00 is exclusive of VAT but includes all examination fees.
Late enrollment fees of £60 may apply for any course that is booked within a 6 week examination time frame.
All City and Guilds 2391-10 written examinations are closed book; we ask you to bring the relevant books with you as you will refer to these books (see book list below) in your course. City and Guilds class 2391-10 as a dated entry entry examination, which means that there are specific examination dates (normally only 7 in any one academic year) that City and Guilds releases for the purposes of the 2391-10 written examination. Delegates should also be aware, that when booking their chosen course, if it falls after a "cut off" date period, which is normally within 6 weeks of the actual examination, this will unfortunately, be subject to a "late entry examination fee" - please call us on 0845 370 8118 for further clarification.
City and Guilds 2391-10 written examination papers are marked by an appointed City and Guilds examiner, with results not normally available for around 8 to 10 weeks - any delays in the marking of written examination papers is generally outside of our control, however, we will advice you by post and/or e mail as soon as we have been notified.
This course leads to a fully accredited qualification, City and Guilds 2391-10 Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations.
