This course develops the technical expertise and underpinning knowledge to install and test hard wired fire detection and fire alarm systems. As part of the overall course structure, delegates will be trained to identify component parts of the system through the correct positioning of components and the testing of the system prior to the system entering service.
Who will benefit from this course?
This course is primarily aimed at those, including electricians, who are seeking knowledge on the processes involved in the initial installation of fire detection and fire alarm systems. We recommend that delegates who may wish to attend this course, have an understanding of standard electrical terminologies and hold an up to date 17th edition wiring regulations certificate, which is normally evidenced by the delegate having a City and Guilds 2382 certificate (or equivalent).
